Relata uses an industry standard 'tracking-pixel' or 'beacon' to provide insights into how Contacts are engaging with your emails.
Over the past few years, we have seen platforms start to prevent these beacons from providing data, with the goal of protecting a Contact's privacy.
A notable example of this is Mail Privacy Protection (MPP) from Apple. Apple's MPP prevents any interaction data generated in the Apple Mail app from being shared with Relata. As such, we cannot show you any Glances, Quick Reads, Reads, Forwards or Revisits from Contacts who have this feature enabled. Clicks and Replies remain visible.
To help identify when this is happening, Relata will show you an alert in Relata Track.
Where possible, we will also show which Contacts are using this feature. We can do this because features like Apple's MPP leave a fingerprint we can identify.
